We recently had Blue Lake Contracting complete a backyard project including replacing some fencing, removing and rebuilding 2 decks and removing and replacing a garden shed. We are very pleased with the beautiful results! The whole process from meeting Fab in our backyard, receiving a detailed quote, scheduling and planning, and the demolition and building went smoothly. Fab was excellent at hearing our needs and making recommendations for our vision to come true. Marie in the office is friendly and helpful. The 2 main workers onsite, Dave and Mark were excellent! The workmanship, skill and pride in their work is outstanding! Dave was wonderful in explaining the different steps, products and results to us throughout the build. We would definitely hire Blue Lake again for any outdoor or indoor work.
I cannot properly express how amazing these guys are. I met Fab when he was completing a residential walkway for my neighbor. I take care of my elderly parents fulltime now in my home and they both have mobility issues. Fab and his team installed a beautiful open stone walkway with railing and it has been a lifesaver for my folks. The team also put down new sod in the backyard and I've been receiving compliments about the work ever since. Fab was there for me when I had a dispute with a company that installed an A/C unit below grade. If he hadn't of stepped in, on his own accord, and stood up for me, I would have had to pay at least a couple thousand dollars to have it corrected. I cannot say enough about them. The whole team was polite and the cost was fair, especially given the amazing quality of work. If you want it done right, this is the team you need to hire. We are so grateful. Love you Fab!
Fab and his team did an outstanding landscaping job on my new home. They completed a new concrete sidewalk, patio pad, window well, fence with RV gate, and front step. This is the second time I've hired Blue Lake Contracting for my landscaping projects, and they consistently deliver excellent results. Many of my neighbors have come over to compliment the work, noting that it has added significant value and charm to our community. The team was a pleasure to work with, accommodating changes as the project progressed, and the end result exceeded my expectations. I will definitely call them again for future projects.

We had Blue Lake in to replace our deck, put a concrete patio in the back, put in a new walkway from the house to the sidewalk and replace the front an rear doors. The crew that did the concrete work was fast and efficient - so much so that 2 neighbours saw the work and also hired Blue Lake to do their own projects. We opted for a wood pattern stamp on the concrete which has really worked well. The door were custom orders from Lux and Fab's carpenters did great work installing them and building a new smaller deck that really works for us. Fab was good to deal with and we found the pricing to be quite reasonable. If we had another project along these lines we wouldn't hesitate to contact Blue Lake and see what they propose.

Fab and I worked together on finishing my basement in 2023. Fab was great to work with on the project; he was very accommodating to my ideas, input, and changes throughout the basement project which I greatly appreciated. We incorporated a two tone paint job throughout, a finished closet with a a secret false door, and various upgrades throughout, Fab was great in helping me get those ideas down. The contractors on the project were also great, very respectful and courteous folks. Dave was especially great to work with as he'd explain his process, help solve ideas, and was nice to chat with. Blue Lake built our secondary suite in the basement and did a great job. We interviewed 5 contractors and Fabs experience speaks volumes he worked for a major builder prior and lots of previous experience that showed in the finished product and process throughout. Thank you Fab and your team.
I have used Blue Lake a few times now and I highly recommend them. My last project included a new fence, driveway, walkway, two patio areas, swim spa pad and pergola. I will be using them again this year for our shed and swim spa stairs.
Highly recommend these guys we found them on the web and seen some reviews and gave them a call and they do not disappoint we renovated our whole upper floor including windows, doors, all of our trim work and new bathrooms. We had our own painter in the family and Fab let us do that portion of the scope the job was done perfectly by Dave and his workers.

Our expectations were exceeded by the work completed on our front entrance redo/renovation project at River's Edge Condo's. The crews were courteous, did excellent work and cleaned up daily. We were quite impressed with the professionalism and quality of work. Fab is certainly a man of his word and is someone that we can always count on. highly recommended!!
We contracted Blue Lake Contracting to extend our existing patio. Our initial thoughts were to extend our current concrete patio with pressure treated wood. When Fab came on-site his experience in this field truly showed and he recommended stamped concrete. Fab was able to quickly put a quote together and we were able to negotiate the best price that made sense for both of us. We hired Fab and his team at Blue lake in April and by mid-May his team was able to complete the project in approximately 1 week. Stamped concrete is not a clean job at all because you have to rip out existing grass, soil, dig etc. Even though this was a messy job, Blue Lake’s team cleaned up very well on the street, in the backyard and was a pleasant site for me and my neighbours as well. Fab’s team was delightful to work with and during the project I saw some changes that I wanted to make and without fuss they quickly changed up the design. Of course, these changes were small in nature however they changed it for us and for me that counts as great service. They are very clean and very professional. Overall, I would use Fab and his team again and if you are looking to do anything from landscaping to basement development, I would truly keep Blue Lake in mind.

I selected Blue Lake for my custom garage and backyard landscaping project. It was an ambitious project and it was hard to find someone who understood what I was trying to achieve. Fab understood very quickly and had some great suggestions for improvements and ways to save money. The cost may seem high however there was a lot involved including excavation, landscaping, extensive rebar and structural concrete, carpentry, plumbing, electrical and others. The garage includes a walkout workshop with suspended slab and is fully plumbed. Fence, retaining walls, patio, walkways, stairs. Also fixed my pre-existing drainage issues that happened during the spring melt due to my location on a hill. Fab's crew was great and everybody was professional and respectful. I'm very grateful to the folks at Blue Lake for taking on the project, for all of their hard work and giving me a great garage and back yard. Thank you all!
