This past summer , we had Fab and his crew out to widen our driveway and design and install a beautiful stamped patio in our back yard. They did not disappoint ! His crew was quick, friendly and professional. Fab popped by several times as the project was being completed to assist and ensure that everything was executed according to plan. We have been using blue Lake pumping for years. We have always had a good experience. They place the concrete down nicely so there is not a ton of raking. They don't make a mess like other pump operators do. Always early to set up. They are awesome guys, very friendly. They take care of their equipment. As a finisher, they make our job easier. I recommend them!
Fab's team did an excellent job with some concrete work at our home. We needed some steps added along the side of our house to connect the front to the back entrance of our legal sunshine suite. He was able to make great recommendations on the design and everything looks great. He was also very communicative and a nice guy to deal with! I appreciate Blue Lake Contracting's timely work and expertise. Would highly recommend.
In 2024 we had Fab and crew pour a new sidewalk for our house and an addition to a shed pad…..great job on budget and on time. He also gave us some good advice on sealing our existing driveway. This year instead of using that advice, we instead had Fab come back and seal/repair the driveway and steps. Again, great job as expected. Would recommend them for sure.
We had Blue Lake in to replace our deck, put a concrete patio in the back, put in a new walkway from the house to the sidewalk and replace the front an rear doors. The crew that did the concrete work was fast and efficient - so much so that 2 neighbours saw the work and also hired Blue Lake to do their own projects. We opted for a wood pattern stamp on the concrete which has really worked well. The door were custom orders from Lux and Fab's carpenters did great work installing them and building a new smaller deck that really works for us. Fab was good to deal with and we found the pricing to be quite reasonable. If we had another project along these lines we wouldn't hesitate to contact Blue Lake and see what they propose.
We contracted Blue Lake Contracting to extend our existing patio. Our initial thoughts were to extend our current concrete patio with pressure treated wood. When Fab came on-site his experience in this field truly showed and he recommended stamped concrete. Fab was able to quickly put a quote together and we were able to negotiate the best price that made sense for both of us. We hired Fab and his team at Blue lake in April and by mid-May his team was able to complete the project in approximately 1 week. Stamped concrete is not a clean job at all because you have to rip out existing grass, soil, dig etc. Even though this was a messy job, Blue Lake’s team cleaned up very well on the street, in the backyard and was a pleasant site for me and my neighbours as well. Fab’s team was delightful to work with and during the project I saw some changes that I wanted to make and without fuss they quickly changed up the design. Of course, these changes were small in nature however they changed it for us and for me that counts as great service. They are very clean and very professional. Overall, I would use Fab and his team again and if you are looking to do anything from landscaping to basement development, I would truly keep Blue Lake in mind.
